Obituary of Adell Whittle Fleming
Adell "Smiley" Whittle Fleming retired from Ingalls 35 Department, graduated from Vancleave High School in the class of 1971 and was a proud member of A. O. H. Church. Adell Fleming passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 in Vancleave, MS at the age of 57.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Fleming; her parents Eli and Bervena Whittle, Sr.; brothers, John "Pete" Fairley, Earl Whittle and Baby Whittle.
She is survived by children: Sederick, Youlanda, and Amanda Whittle; siblings: Matthew (Harriet) Whittle, Levander (Gloria) Whittle, Zella Mae (Wilbur) Reddix, Caroline (late Harry) Burney, Eli (Mary) Whittle, Jr., Flora Whittle, Hellen (Robert) Simpson, Ethel (late Robert) Weathersby, Lester Whittle and Glenn (Lou Ethel) Whittle, seven grand children, two uncles: Alec (Cleo) Fairley and late Loretta (James) Warren; special friend: Alberta "Mickey" Ward and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be 3PM Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at New Light Family Life Center, 5120 Burney Road in Vancleave. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the center. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Care of our mother is entrusted only to the professionalism of Marshall Funeral Home.
