Calvin Anthony Rowell was born on August 31, 1948 in Gautier, MS to the late James and Mamie Rowell. He passed away on November 15, 2011 in Vinegar Bend, AL at the age of 63.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Charlie Rowell and Mamie Grimsley Rowell; and brothers: Gary and Orey Rowell.
He is survived by his daughter: Natasha Richardson; son: David Erwin; sisters: Dorothy Moran Gibson of Gautier, MS, Linda Cirlot of Ocean Springs, and Rita (Craig) Leasure of Ocean Springs; brothers: Melvin Rowell of Gautier and Kenny Rowell of Vinegar Bend, AL; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 3PM today, November 18, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Gautier, MS. Visitation will be at the church two hours prior to service time. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Gautier.
