Herb was the son of Frank and Constance (Skipp)Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a steel mill worker, salesman, farmer and maintenance worker at Burlington High School in Burlington, CO. Herb along with his wife had lived in Canon City for 15 years.
He received his education in Ohio and attended college in Pittsburg, PA.
He moved to Colorado in 1931, where he married Eulavee Cummings January 24, 1932 in Peyton, CO. During his life, he was an active member of the Christian Church, serving as an elder, deacon and adult teacher.
He is survived by his wife, Eulavee Taylor; Children Donald and Naomi; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
