He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a military policeman, and did some service at the White House.
In 1964, Mr. Hall moved to Dover when The Jell-O division was bought out by General Foods. He was a packaging mechanic for General Foods for 39 years, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the G.F. Archery Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and car racing, both NASCAR and Formula One.
Mr. Hall also enjoyed taking his wife to weekend craft fairs.
