Passed peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, with his family at his side after his courageous battle with cancer. Joseph Peter Milne, 64 years of age, beloved husband of Linda (Stewart) for 37 years. Loving father of Tammy Toomer (Walter) of Waterdown, Kimberly Nywening (John), Peter and Carrie Leake (Mike). Papa of Jessie, Jordan, Chris, Rick, Andrea, Olivia and Emma. Dear brother of Beatrice Adam (Bob), Cindy Milne (Randy Turner), Ann Milne and the late Douglas and his favourite mother-in-law; Margaret Stewart. Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Marie Milne. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 10- 11a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
