Sarah Pocahontus McCullum had large features and a head full of curly red hair. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Huntus". On her application for widow's pension she stated that she was born in Hickman county and had lived in TN all of her life. Also stated that her maiden name was McCollum and that her husband was James Harvey Hinson, married in Hickman Co., TN, Esq, Andrew DePriest performed the ceremony. She had no children.
