June Alice Christ, a longtime resident of the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque area, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 with her family by her side. June was born on June 9, 1935 to Edward Eden and Alice (Johnson) Grimes of Greenville, OH. Mrs. Christ was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Edwin Christ, and a brother, Neil Grimes. June is survived by her daughters, Deborah K. Niemeyer and her husband, Steve, of Albuquerque, NM, Linda J. Allread and her husband, Rick, of Greenville, OH, Cheryl Ann Chandler of Reno, NV, Karen Sue Conrad and her husband, Frank, of Albuquerque, NM, and Sharon Lou Christ, brothers, Paul Charles Grimes and his wife, Janice, of Rio Rancho, NM and John A. Grimes and his wife, Deborah of Virginia, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and and numerous other family members and friends who mourn her passing. Abiding with her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
