GRANTSVILLE - John J. Beeman, 72, died Tuesday at the Frostburg Community Hospital. Born in Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Joseph S. Beeman and Daisy (Shimer) Beeman. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his widow, Hulda (Bittinger) Beeman; a brother, Walter Beeman; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Preston and Miss Hattie Beeman, all of Pontiac, MI.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dewayne Johnson.
Interment will be in Bittinger Cemetery.
