Dies Last Night

Aubrey Wallace Reynolds, age 30, passed away in an Atlanta hospital at 9 o'clock last night following a three-day illness.

Born in Lindale on May 5, 1923, he had spent his entire life here before moving to Atlanta a few months ago. The son of Sara Sommers and R. Emmett Reynolds Sr., he was married to the former Helen Lemming, of Lindale, on July 12, 1947. Mr. Reynolds was educated in the schools of Lindale and served with the U. S. Army during World War II.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Cherry Darlin; his parents, of Felton, Ga.; three brothers, Emmett Reynolds Jr., of Armuchee, and Earl Reynolds and Jack Reynolds, of Rome; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Parker, of Childersburg, Ala., and Mrs. Agnes Bowman, of Terry City, Ala.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in the South Lindale Friendlyship Baptist Church. Officiating will be the pastor, the Rev. Hugh Formby, the Rev. B. L. Bond and the Rev. Harvey Brown. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Jack Gober, W. W. Dupree, John White, George Buford, Jim Mehaffey and Jeff Tillery.

Graveside rites will be conducted by McClain-Sealock Post No. 136 of the American Legion.

The remains will rest at the residence of Mrs. R. J. Green, 402 Park Street, until time for the services.
