Lois Speer-Nance, 83, of Bearden died Sunday, April 8, 2007, in the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce.
She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in the community of Hopeville where she was presently living. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopeville Assembly of God Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, John Daniel Speer and Fannie Anthony-Speer; her husband, Oliver Nance; two brothers, Everett Speer and Leonard Speer; four sisters, Mildred Smith, Naomi Shaddock, Ethel Speer and Lucille Speer.
She is survived by one son, John Nance of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and David Endsley of Bearden; one brother, James Speer of Bearden; two sisters, Elsie Peterson of Camden and Frances Williams of Bearden; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela and Jonathan Endsley.
The funeral services will be held at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Burial at Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
