Mrs. Mae S. Sirmons, 91, of Dalton, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Derrel C. Sirmons, and a son, Toby.
Mae was a registered nurse and retired from working at the Whitfield County Public Health Department after 27 years. She was a member of the Dalton First United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Rebecca Sirmons of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Robert Williams of Conyers, Robin and Rick Ruth of Dalton; brother, Russell Swett of Dalton; grandson, Jody Williams of Savannah; and granddaughter, Maria Williams of Deland, Fla.
