Daughter of John Clark and Patience Clark, nee Mitten. Mother of 15, seven of which lived to adulthood. She was a woman of faith in the Methodist Episcopal church and was baptized by Rev. Uriah Heath at the age of 16. She worked hard to help her family live by comfortable means and was a source of great strength for her husband, children and grandchildren. Mrs. Clark's death was preceded by a fall in her home, which resulted in a broken hip and internal injuries.
