Martha E. Gordon, 84, of Hardin, IL died at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home in Jerseyville, IL.

She was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Hardin Presbyterian Church and volunteered at the Lutheran Child and Family Services in Hardin.

Martha was the daughter of the late Emial A. and Irene (Kaiser) Tolbert. She married Bill Gordon in 1949 and he died in 1980.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann (Robert) of Chillicothe; four brothers, Harry (Patsy) of Jerseyville, Jesse (Bonnie) of Hamburg, IL, Emial of Carrollton, IL and Ray (Patty) of Roxana, IL; two sisters, Marguerite of Hamburg and Myrtle of Shipman; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Tolbert and a sister, Ruth Webster.

Visitation was held at Hanks-Gress Funeral Home in Hardin, IL.
The funeral was conducted at the funeral home with Rev. Paul D. Frazier officiating.

Requested memorials to the Hardin Presbyterian Church or a charity of one's choice.
