Retired Cab Driver
Charles Beaumont, 73, of 611 McIlvan St., died enroute to Chester Hospital last night following a seven year illness.
Mr. Beaumont was taken to the hospital by Franklin Rescue Squad. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
He was born in Lenni and had been a resident of Chester 35 years.
Mr. Beaumont worked as an engineer for many years. He later was employed as a taxicab driver and retired when he became ill.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, a son, John, at home, two brothers, J.W. Beaumont of Media and John of Newport, DE, a sister, Mrs. Louis Hart of Lenni.
