Sara P. Baynes, 94, of Chester, died June 9 at Crozer Chester Medical Center
Born in Upland, she was a former resident of Brookhaven and Boothwyn.
A graduate of Chester High School, Mrs. Baynes worked for UPS, Rogers Clothing Store in Chester and Ship and Shore.
An avid Phillies fan, Mrs. Baynes enjoyed casinos and playing cards.
She was the wife of the late Louis G. Baynes, daughter of the late George and Pearl Pendelton and the sister of the late George Pendelton and Pearl Baynes.
Survivors: Nieces who cared for her, Mary Ahn of Brookhaven, Patricia April of Chester, Judy Miller of New Castle, Del.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday, Mount Hope Cemetery, 4010 Concord Road, Aston, Pa. 19014
