Christen Jensen was born June 23, 1857 in Denmark and passed away at his home in Cotesfield, May 9, 1936 being at the time of his death 78 years, 10 months and 16 days of age. He was married to Christena Jensen, January 12, 1884, who preceded him in death March 29, 1922. To this union six children, four sons and two daughters were born; one daughter died in infancy. The surviving children are John of Minatare; James C. of Laramie Wyoming; Louie, George and Mary at home, also two grandchildren, Kathryn and Margaret Jensen of Minatare, and one brother M. C. Jensen of Grand Island.
