Reburial Rites for John Bettinger Wednesday


Reburial services for Technician Fifth Grade John T. Bettinger, Jr., 20, who died Nov. 10, 1945, at a Manila hospital after an illness will be held in Forest Hill cemetery Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Calvin M Zenk of Memprial Evangelical and Reformed church will conduct the rites. Friends may call at the Frautchi funeral home after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The family requests the flowers be omitted. T/5 Bettinger was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bettinger, Sr., 418 Hillington way. He was born in Madison, attended West high, graduated from St. John's Military academy in 1943, and was attending the University of Wisconsin when he entered the service Oct. 4, 1943. He was a member of a service company of the 86th division. He held membership in Theta Chi fraternity. Survivors besides his parents include his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Oswald T.
