Phillip (age 30) and wife Elizabeth Rutman Agney (Achney, Agne) immigrated from Bavaria to New York on May 10, 1833 ship Meridian, Wirh them was daughters Catherine 7 and Elizabeth France 3. Then to Suffield Twp., Portage County 1844 near Hartville, Stark county. The old farm house still stands near rt 419. His son Henry Agne b 3 May 1843 d 3 Mar 1898 married Mary Jane Stamm b Oct 1843 d 21 Dec 1904 is the daughter of Andrew Stamm and Anna Traster.
