Came to Arizona from Haskell, Texas in 1936 where he owned & operated the Covey Market and an auction barn. He also had been in the livestock business. After moving to Arizona he was a cowboy and rancher. He came to Prescott in 1953.
Was survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. M. P. Richards of Flagstaff and Mrs. Louise Bombardieri of Prescott; 3 son, Allen of Phoenix, Don of Seligman and Alton of Oroville, California, 17 granchildren and 14 great greandchildren.
