OBITUARY:

Laura G. (Merriam) Conner, 99, of 73 Merriam District and formerly of 111 Merriam District, died Wednesday, May 27 at the Golden Living Center- The Hermitage in Worcester. She was the wife of Raymond H. Conner who died in 1969. She leaves two daughters; Pauline L. Vassar and Joan M. Stevens both of North Oxford, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Born in North Oxford, she was the daughter of Howard & Edith (Dwinell) Merriam and lived there all her life. She was a member of Greenville Baptist Church in Rochdale. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, bird watching and camping in Vermont. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. in Greenville Baptist Church, 684 Pleasant St., Rochdale, burial will follow in Gore Cemetery, North Oxford. Calling hours are Friday from 6-8 p.m. in the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Please omit flowers.
