Thelma Kee Blankenship, 96, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002 at her residence. She was a retired teacher with Lauderdale County School System.
DYERSBURG -
Thelma Kee Blankenship, 96, retired teacher for the Lauderdale County School System, died Saturday at his home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park in Memphis. J. W. Curry and Son Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Blankenship, the widow of Dr. J. C. Blankenship, leaves a sister, Irma Kee Bolding, and a niece who cared for her, Wanda Butler.
[Thelma was the d/o Thomas Edgar Kee and Hattie Faulkner McFarland (buried at Sorrell Chapel Cemetery, Dyer Co., TN), Granddaughter of Joab F. Kee and Clara Lugenia Sorrell, Great Granddaughter of John Kee and Eunice "Nicey" G. Carter.]
