Mrs Martha Allen, aged seventy-nine years, wife of George Allen, died at her home near Buck, in Forest Hill district Sunday. Her death came very suddenly and is supposed to have been caused y heart disease. She is survived by her husband and seven children. They are S T, of Hinton; John A and Charles L, of Buck; George W, of Washington State; Mrs T J Townsley, of Avis; Mrs M E Carden, of Loop Creek and Mrs A A Foster, of Hinton.
Mrs Allen was highly esteemed by her neighbors and friends and her sudden death came as a great shock to them. She was a consistent Christian woman and much beloved by those who knew her.
Her remains will be buried in the Huffman graveyard.

Mrs Martha Allen, wife of Geo W Allen, died very suddenly yesterday morning at their home on little Wolf Creek. Her death was caused by heart failure, as she was in her usual health up to a few minutes before her death. She was 80 years of age and is survived by her husband and several children and grandchildren. The funeral and burial took place this afternoon at the Huffman graveyard near their home place.
Several of her children and relatives live here in town and left for their parents home after being notified of her death.
