Sarah Shaw Buckler, 86, Lebanon, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at The Village of Lebanon.

Buckler was born in Taylor County July 10, 1924.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Louis Bertrand Buckler; a son, Timothy Russell Buckler; parents, Seymour and Mabel Shaw; a sister, Ethel "Sissy" Buchanon; and two brothers, Russell and Jimmy Shaw.

Survivors include: five daughters, Sara "Wassie" Buckler, Pat (Estel) Gaddie, Jan Bradshaw, Kay (Steve) Coyle and Mary Anne (Benny) Blair, all of Lebanon; three sons, Louis Bertrand "Burt", Jr., and Joe Buckler, both of Lebanon, and Frank Buckler of Lexington; a special caregiver, Mary Ann Mattingly; three brothers, Seymour "Buddy" and Don Shaw, both of Campbellsville, and Dick Shaw of California; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with burial in the church cemetery. Father Jerry Bell officiated.

Memorial donations can be made to the Marion County Industries, 516 Workshop Lane, Lebanon, Ky. 40033.

Active pallbearers were Chris Bradshaw, Brian Gaddie, Justin Coyle, Bentley and Joe Vincent Blair and Matt Thurman.

Honorary pallbearers were Maurice Spalding, Paul Mattingly, Jimmy Thomas, Lloyd Bugg, John Wathen and J.B. Thomas.

Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
