Married James Page Bridgewater November 27, 1919 in Green County. They were the parents of two daughters, S. Hortense and Estelle M.

Obituary:
Mrs. Bessie Catherine Moore Bridgewater, daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Benjamin Moore and Mrs. Martha Eliza Hudson Moore, was born July 2, 1902, in Green County and departed this life on Monday, March 23, 1998, at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. She was 95 years, eight months and 21 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church since 1920. She united in marriage to Mr. James Page Bridgewater on November 27, 1919, in Green County. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1975. To this union were born two daughters: Hortense Kessler of Greensburg and Estelle Taylor, who preceded her mother in death. She is also survived by two granddaughters: Patsy Burns and Martha Page Houk, both of Greensburg; four great-grandchildren: Brent Burris of Glasgow, Amy Houk Bishop of Louisville, Ashley Burris of Greensburg, and Charlie Houk of Greensburg; one great-great-grandson: Zechariah Edward Taylor Houk of Greensburg; one grandson-in-Iaw: Maxie Houk of Greensburg; two great-grandddaughters-in-law and one great-grandson-in-law: Tracey Burris of Glasgow, Brian Bishop of Louisville, and Regina Houk of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sons-in-law: L.C. Taylor and Henry Kessler; one grand-son-in-law: Dennis Burris; and five brothers: Paul, Lyman, Odus, Lenard and Cecil Moore. The funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Catherine Moore Bridgewater were conducted Thursday, March 26, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Morris officiated. Family requests that expressions of sympathy are to take the form of donations to the Ebenezer Church Building Fund. Pallbearers were Willard Coffey, Druard Paxton, Charlie Houk, William Ed Hudson, Maxie Houk, Brent Burris, Phil Reese, Jerry Powell and Brian Bishop.
