Mrs. Dorothy Catherine Baynes, 85, passed away Friday morning, February 22, 2013 at Wesley Long Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park with Pastor Ted Burke and Pastor Larry May officiating.
Mrs. Baynes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baynes, Sr. and granddaughter, Jasmine Moore.
She is survived by her son, Robert Baynes, Jr., (Linda); son, Joseph David Baynes (Alice); daughter, Lora Baynes; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and brother, Monroe Boley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
