PORTAGE — Funeral services for Mrs. D. H. Abell, who died at her home at 501 W. Conant St., Tuesday, were to be held at 4 p.m., today in St. John's Episcopal church. The Rev. Daniel H. Corrigan, rector of the St. Francis house, Madison, was to officiate. Serving as pall-bearers were to be her sons, Robert, Kenneth, and Earl Abell, and her sons-in-law, Edward L. Johnson, George A. Murison, and Edward W. Panter,
Born at Lincoln Center, Mo., Carrie Louise Buswell came to Wisconsin with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Buswell, in 1878. She was married to David Hunter Abell in 1881. Survivors include seven children, Robert H. Abell, Mrs. George A. Murison, and Jean Abell, Portage; Mrs. Edward W. Panter, Beloit; Mrs. Edward L. Johnson, Pewaukee; Earl C. Abell, Milwaukee, and Kenneth W. Abell, Wauwatosa.
