Rosa Lindsey Alfano, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 while residing at Royal Haven Nursing Home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Lyle and Catherine (Manning) Chapline. Rosa was married to the late William F. Alfano. They were blessed with a son, William Alfano, and two daughters Dorothea Orfino and Catherine Brishcar.
A time of visitation for family and friends has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, 2012 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. A service will be held at the Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 East Church Rd, Sterling, Virginia 20164 on Thursday, September 20, 2012 starting at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Randy Duncan will be officiating. Interment will take place in the National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Virginia.
