Born in Oklahoma and raised in Kansas, he moved to Tacoma, Wash., in 1920 and came to this area several years ago. He was a cement mason until he reitred in 1964, a veteran of World War I, and past commander and life member of veterans of Foreign Wars in Sumner, Wash.
Survivors include widow, Fannie; son, Robert, of Medical Lake, Wash; daughter, Marjorie Black, Gervais; brother, Glenn, Avondale, Ariz., six grandchildren anf four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the New Tacoma Cemetery, Tecoma, Wash., under the direction of Unger mortuary, Mount Angel.
