Earl Bowman
Services for Earl T. Bowman, 79, of Memphis, were at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb 27, at the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetary in Chester County.
Mr. Bowman, formerly of Jackson, died Wednesday, Feb 25, in Madison County near Beech Bluff, and was educated in Madison county schools. He had lived in Memphis since 1959 and was retired from the Tennessee Highway Department.
He was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and Stonewall Masonic Lodge in Memphis.
He leaves his wife, Mrs Mary Pearl Storey Bowman; a son, Travis T. Bowman of Memphis; two stepsons, Harry Hodges of Jackson and David Hodges of St. Louis; a brother, Elmer Bowman of Milan; a sister, Mrs Nan Rountree of the Diamond Grove Community; and a granddaughter.
