Billie Sue Lanham, 84, of Columbia passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral chapel. Ms. Lanham was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Boone County to Walter Joseph and Virginia Pauley Atkins. On Oct. 26, 1947, she married Joe Leland Lanham in Columbia, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Little Bonne Femme Baptist Church. Survivors include three children, two daughters and and a son, all of Columbia; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
