Mr. Dixon worked at Atlantic Electric Co. and was a member of its Quarter Century Club.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Mr. Dixon was an area resident all his life.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; a son, William Jr. of Cardiff; a daughter, Pamela of California; two sisters, Doris Imandt of California and Ruth Bonner of Linwood; two brothers, James of Absecon and Thomas of Scullville; and one grandchild.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Bargaintown.
