One (twin) daughter by his 1st marriage stayed in Floyd Co., IN. with her Uncle Isaac Stewart, the other three lived in Wabash Co., IL. Two of them married Baird brothers. After his marriage to Rachel Shively on November 19, 1816 in Shelby County, KY. they migrated to Orange County, IN, shortly before 1820. They are mentioned in the minutes of the Stamper Creek Primitive Baptist Church as being received into the church in 1820. They migrated to Wabash County, IL, circa 1831. He had twelve children by Rachel: Timothy, Mahala, David, James, John, Susannah, Nancy, Sarah, William, Jacob, Henry, & Rachel. Two sets of twins by Rachel & twin daughters by his 1st wife, Elizabeth! Researched and written by Laura J. Stewart.
