"FRANK J. BORDNER, 77, DIES IN RURAL HOME
Active As Farmer, Banker And Industrialist.
Frank J. Bordner, 77, a life resident of Stark county and actively identified with industrial and banking interests in Canton and vicinity, died Monday night in his home on the Canton-Massillon rd.
He followed farming for many years and was active in the Stark County Agricultural society. He developed the Manor allotment. For a time he was associated with Canton Steel Foundry and Canton Material Co., and helped found both the North Canton and Louisville banks.
He was a member of Canton lodge 60, F. & . M., and the First Church of Christ, Scientist.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. W. A. Schellhouse (sic) and Mrs. Verna Whitney, both of the home; a son, Niles O. Bordner of Reedurban; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home in charge of Ralph Rohn, First Reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery. The Masonic lodge will hold services at the home Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The body is at the C. D. Spiker parlors and will be taken to the home Wednesday noon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
