Funeral services for Mary Torrey Saffold Hughes, 87, of Memphis, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson & Knight Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hughes died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
She was a homemaker. A native and longtime resident of Greenwood, she was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity and the Four Seasons Garden Club. She had been a resident of Memphis since 1997.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hughes; and her parents, Allen D. and Mary Torrey Lear Saffold.
She is survived by a daughter, Torrey Hughes of Memphis; one nephew and two nieces.
The Rev. Matthew Rowe will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
