He was employed as a machinist by Oneida Ltd. He was a member of the Park Methodist Church, Sherrill Lodge of Masons and the C. A. C. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. May Chesebro Jones; two sons, Lt. George Jones serving in Europe, and Elliott Jones, M. O., MM.1/c., in the Pacific theater; a granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Shafer, Sherrill, and Miss Ruth Jones, Baldwinsville; a brother, Allan Jones, this city, and several nieces and nephews."
