Dewey Wilburn Cook was born in Hopkins County, TX where he ran a paper route with Curtis Clinton Davis, his cousin. He moved to Tenino, WA where he established the Associated Service Station & Park In Grocery for 14 years. He was an active member in the Eagles of Tenino, WA and the Tenino Chamber of Commerce. He died after a brief illness. Funeral services were at the Tenino Presbyterian Church & resided by Reverend Mackenzie Murray. He was married to Anna Mae Hollandsworth until her death. He married a 2nd time to Dona Hereyford who also is buried in Forest Grove. While he was still young his mother, Lela Mae McWilliams, passed away. His father, William Andrew Cook,married a 2nd time to Mary Carter. Together they gave Dewey Wilburn Cook 10 siblings. 3 of the 10 are surviving today.
