Irene McClimans Stahlman (Erie Times – February 16, 1983)
Clymer, NY – Irene V. McClimans Stahlman, 68, North Haven, Apt. 3, Sherman, New York, and formerly Clymer, died Wednesday at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Erie on September 19, 1914, daughter of the late David and Bessie Gue McClimans Sr.. She worked for Clymer Bag Company and Peek n Peak ski resort. Survivors include her husband, Neil W. Stahlman, whom she married June 11, 1933; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Doris) Averill of Erie; two sons, Wilber Stahlman of Chicago, Ill., and David Stahlman of Bloomfield, NM.; a brother, David McClimans of Clymer; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Fanny) Cannon of Clymer and Mrs. Harold (Bette) Baker of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends may call at Spitzer Funeral Home in Clymer on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be at the funeral home Saturday at 11 am with James Parker, elder of the Jehovah's Witnesses congregation of Lawrence Park, officiating. Burial will be at Cutting Cemetery.
