Obituary:

Rebekah Elaine Mock, 90, of Winfield, Kansas passed away Wednesday morning, March 31, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Village.

Born September 30, 1919 in Kansas City Missouri, she was the daughter of Ralph Martin and Nanny (Presell) Casebolt. She was raised and recieved her education in the Kansas City area.

In 1940 Rebekah was united in marriage to Leroy Wayne Bolander in Kansas City, Missouri. To this union three sons were born, Robert, Roger and Perry. The couple made their home in Kansas City until 1942 when the family moved to Grenola, Kansas. They then moved to Winfield in 1950 and Rebekah went to work as a foreman at Binney and Smith Crayola. Mr. Bolander proceeded her in death.

On October 29, 1966 Rebekah married Lawrence Mock, in Washington state. The couple made their home in Portland, Oregon before moving to Winfield in 1976. In 1979 the couple returned to Portland. Mr. Mock proceeded her in death in 1986. Rebekah then returned to Winfield to be near her sons.

She enjoyed going to Oklahoma to play Bingo with friends, she also enjoyed needle point and cooking.

Her family includes: her sons: Robert "Bob" Bolander of Winfield, KS; Roger Bolander of Winfield, KS; her grandsons Jeremy Bolander of Houston TX; Perry Bolander and wife, Angela of Derby KS; Bobby Bolander and wife, Julie of Houston, TX; Leroy Bolander of Houston, TX; Her granddaughters Becky McMinn and husband, Marty of Houston, TX; Tina Temple of Houston, TX; and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Rebekah was proceeded in death by her two brothers and three sisters, her son Perry Bolander in 1984 and her daughter-in-law Linda Bolander in 2009.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening April 2, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00. the family will greet vistors from 6:00 to 8:00 that evening.
