William I. "Billy" Anderson, 68, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, January 18, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Anderson was born December 22, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo. He was retired as the owner-operator of Allstate Chimney Service and enjoyed drawing and fishing. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Air Force servicing in the Air Police.

On January 3, 1965 he was married to Mary Ann Sandusky in Pontiac, Mich. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Raymond D. Anderson of Poplar Bluff and one daughter, Shannon A. Anderson of Naylor; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Larry Dallas Anderson, James Berlin Anderson and Richard Gaines all of Poplar Bluff and one sister, Ann Gaines of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the City Cemetery with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
