Flora Brabender, 90, 110 Beebe Ave., Peshtigo, died Tuesday, April 24, 2001. Born in the Town of Grover on Sept. 5, 1910, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustave (Margaret Engel) Feske, she had lived her whole life in this area.
On April 6, 1929, she was married to Elroy Brabender in Marinette. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1993. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Ladies Aid.
Survivors include one son, Elroy (Beverly) Brabender, Jr. of Laughlin, Nev.; five daughters, Mrs. Hilbert (Barbara) Seefeldt of Lena, Mrs. Stanley (Connie) Ostrenga of Wallace, Mich., Marlene Felner of Appleton, Mrs. Royce (Susan) Squier of Menominee, Mich., Mrs. James (Jackie) Bertschinger of Hanover Park, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by nine sisters, one brother, one son, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo on Thursday, April 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. David Zahn officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo.
