NAMPA--Funeral services for John E. Nalley, 80, of Nampa Route 5, who died Monday morning at a Nampa hospital following a short illness; will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Meridian Cemetery at Meridian.
Mr. Nalley was born March 13, 1887 at Dodge City, Ark. He was married to Sersey Jane Horton on Aug. 25, 1907 at Marion County, Ark. They came to the Nampa area on Jan. 1, 1932, and had continued to make their home in Canyon County, where he farmed, since that time. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Sersey Jane Nalley of Nampa; five sons, Robert N. Nalley of Homedale, Edward C. Nalley of Nampa, William Fred Nalley of Pocatello, Ted Lee Nalley of Homedale, and Bert J. Nalley of Rupert; 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son.
