A dear neighbor got me interested in cemeteries while I was a child, she, her daughter and myself use to do Sunday drives and along the way we always stoped at a local cemetery.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.

I am not there; I did not die.

If I should not be with you when the next sun sets,
Don't mourn.I've had a lot of sunsets, and I've loved them all.
But I have had such splendid things to love,
You'll know I've had my share.
Don't mourn.
Just reach out to the world:
Embrace it for me.
Grab joy, but let it shine; it may be all that's left of me Still shining.
And when rain dances, know thatI will be the dancing.
Don't forget: I love you always. Still.
