Bio

Researching my family history is one of the most important goals in my life. I feel we should all know as much about our ancestors as possible. Through my research I have been able to spend quality time with my sister, Sandra Bertram MEIER. Researching has brought lots of people into my life I would never have met otherwise. Let's all keep up the good work.

I have just come across my pictures on Ancestry.com that someone has used as their own. There is no mention of where the picture came from. This is ashame. For all of you that tramp through knee high grass, work in the hot Texas sun, and in the cold north wind, use your own gas and then try to find a tree big enough when nature calls, you know what I am talking about. Please if you want to use my pictures or anyone elses please have the decency to ask before posting and give credit where credit is due.

PLEASE NOTE - VERY IMPORTANT:
"...The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."

Since I am getting so many requests for transfers I have started using the findagrave guidelines for transfer. You do not need to own an ancestors memorial page to have a great memorial. I update them each day and will add to a memorial. Just use the edit button on the top right hand of the memorial to be edited.

New Editing Function
"FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."

You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.

Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.
