Fallen Graver

Sadly, Darri has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

Born and raised in Georgia. Moved to Ohio in 1998. Haven't lost the accent. Still miss the south.

I love to explore cemeteries - some are the most beautiful, serene places to me. I have never really found them "scary". I have a husband who will often go with me while I wander through them. It's not his thing but he humors me.

This site has been a great comfort to me because of my loved ones who are buried back home - and I am rarely around to put real flowers on or take care of their graves.

I used to be so scared of dying but since I became a Christian, that fear is no longer there. I trust in God and know that one day we will have a great reunion with those saved loved ones gone before us.

I come here and contribute when I can because I believe we need to remember, honor and share with others the memories of the dead. That way, they live on.
