I started researching my genealogy in 1980 and got hooked. I took classes, and was taught by the best. The rest is history! I enjoy and feel such peace wandering through cemeteries. I have a lot of information. I hope it will help to make it easier for those of you that are researching. Please feel free to submit any corrections to me that I may make in error.I, like so many others, found this sight by accident. Find A Grave has been my source of comfort from so many caring and loving people. I would like to thank everyone that has visited and left flowers and a note for my family, it has truly brought such comfort to me. I have read about a lot of wonderful people and hope that I too have brought comfort to there family as well.
I would like to honor and give thanks to everyone that goes from cemetery to cemetery and or transcribes cemetery records, graves and/or takes pictures. Your hard work and generosity does not in any way go unnoticed to anyone researching. You are truly angels on earth to the ones searching for a loved one or ancestor's burial place.I have found some of my family that I would have never known if it were not for the ones that transcribe...Thank you all! Keep up the good work! God Bless To Everyone!

I want to thank everyone that visits my family and leaves tokens and notes. Sometimes, I get so overwhelmed and behind on my Thank You's, but please know that they do not go unnoticed. From the bottom of my heart & soul I am touched with each one. Love To All & God Bless!

I have been a very generous person when it comes to sharing my family history and my photo's. I have noticed as well as others have brought it to my attention, that there are a few people that will copy the photo's and/or stories and post as if they had contributed them rather than give the person credit from where they got it!This includes duplicating memorials as well as adding to their trees on Ancestry.com..It is common courtesy to ask permission to use a photo from the owner or original contributor,Although I do not expect anyone to ask me for permission, just give me or the person credit for their work!!!!!

I agree with another member's profile:

I think it is a real shame what find A Grave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them.
