Update 2023

Please be aware any memorials I have transferred & had tranferred to me about 90% of the information was done by me & not the person I have transferred too & were tranferred to me. I abhor others taking credit for work I have done. I do all this hard work to help others identify their relatives not for others to take the glory. Only about 9,000 of memorials I manage are my relatives & have worked hard on all other memorials not my relatives.

Remember to add newspaper,date & page in transcribed obituaries. I have gotten quite of few that do not have this information. Without this information I will not add. This is because of copyright laws. I would much prefer a photo of the newspaper clipping rather a transcription. Most people prefer the actual newspaper clipping.

I have also been getting edits to link unknown burials. Be aware I don't link known burials to unknowns. Please follow the words Find a grave. How can you find a grave when the person does not exist in any known cemeteries.

PLEASE BE AWARE IF I MAINTAIN THE PARENTS BUT NOT THE CHILD, I CANNOT ADD THE LINKS TO PARENTS. THIS HAS TO BE DONE ON THE CHILD'S MEMORIAL OF WHICH I DO NOT MAINTAIN. YOU CAN ONLY ADD PARENTS & SPOUSES NOT CHILDREN. I ALSO WILL NOT LINK TO UNKNOWN BURIALS.

UPDATE NOTE July 8,2019: This is the 2nd in 2 days I have seen major errors in the Holy Sepulchre Online Cemetery Records. In one case the record was typed age 10. Checking the obituary I found otherwise along with looking at censuses & the fact who was buried next to her. All lined up with age being age 70 at death. Please before submitting edits make sure you don't go by the online cemetery records only. Do your homework & only use the cemetery records as a guideline.

NOTE: I have just recently taken over 150,000+ memorials in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. (Oct,2017)

I have been doing genealogy for over 35 years & am meticulous about accuracy on my memorials. I go the extra mile to research each & every memorial I maintain to get the most accurate memorial possible. I do from time to time make errors, so don't be afraid to submit corrections, we are only human,lol. I do follow findagrave guidelines for transfer but I will transfer within reason non-direct relative, but will restrict how many can be transferred per person. I do not believe in hoarding memorials. Remember there is always someone much more entitled being a direct descendant rather a family member. I am trying to be fair to everyone. Findagrave is a resource not a personal family tree.

NOTE: MILITARY SERVICE if requested by immediate family & direct descendants, I will add rank to their name. Civil War Buffs & any other War Buffs please refrain from requesting the rank be added to their name, you are not family & have no personal knowledge of these soldiers. I do not assume to know the wishes of the soldier to add rank to their names, only family have this authority. As a stranger I will however respectfully add it to their bio to honor their service. The only other exceptions would be career soldiers or soldiers in a National Cemetery of which rank will be added to their name.
