My research is mainly in Shine, Hall, McCay, Straley, Paynter, Reed, Collins, Barnett, Ballinger, Wolf, Phillips, Stafford family lines. Some of these lines start in Germany, Scotland- Ireland, and England. Some of the lines come to the US right after Jamestown from England, the ones from Ireland-Scotland come around 1700. The Germans come around 1740 and 1803. Many fought for their independence or religious freedoms in the USA or there Mother County.
