Researching several family lines including Berry, Chadd, Christmas, Cooksey, Defoe, Hall, Lewis, Nance, Ramming, Richardson, Sanders, Shepherd and Whiteman. Most of these family lines were originally in Virginia or North/South Carolina and migrated to Missouri in the mid to late 1800s via Kentucky/Tennessee/Indiana.
