Many...but not all...of the memorials I have posted are of family members. I would like each of these memorials to eventually be as rich and detailed as the people whose lives they commemorate.

In many cases I don't have any photos of an individual, or the BEST photo of an individual. If you do, PLEASE post them in their memorials! If you have obituaries, biographical sketches or first hand accounts, I am happy to add them. If there are errors that need correcting, PLEASE let me know. If you are an interested member of my family, I would enjoy hearing from you.

ALSO, if there are existing 'Find A Grave' memorials for other UNLINKED family members out in the world, please LINK them to the rest of the family, or contact me about linking them together. Linkage is one of the wonderful features of 'Find A Grave.'

'Find A Grave' offers us all a fantastic opportunity to memorialize and chronicle all the strands of our individual family history...and make it accessible to our extended family. It is an opportunity to both honor those family members that have gone on ahead and also celebrate our own heritage.

My mission of heart is to honor each of my Michigan emigrant forbearers by commemorating their final resting places and those of as many of their descendants as I can locate. Needless to say, this ultimately involves thousands of individuals who share a common blood line...and many branches that have since left Michigan for other distant points.

NOTE: Anyone is welcome to use any gravestone photographs I have taken. No prior permission is required.
