I live quite a distance from where my ancestors lived, so I am grateful for the assistance of folks on this website for information that I can't get to!

My Boughter, Kreider and Landis families lived in the Lebanon, Pennsylvania area. The Bellards were from Trumbull and Mahoning counties in Ohio. The Moyers and Mooks lived in the Sandusky/Bellevue area in Ohio.

On my mother's side, the Meils came to the Cleveland area from Westray, Orkney Islands and the McLarens were from Kilmarnock, Scotland. The Thorntons and Abels go back to revolutionary war times in New Hampshire and Connecticut respectively and came west to Painesville, Ohio. The Rickett family was from Allen County, Indiana.

I currently live in Rockingham county, North Carolina. I am happy to go into the woods to find "lost" cemeteries here.
